Korean BBQ

On Sat, among our Kulim friends in Singapore, we had a mini gathering again to catch up on good old times and of course for some good food. We were kinda fortunate as well as we gotta see the rehersal done for the fireworks and Black Knights aerial display for the upcoming National Day Parade.

That explains why since Kim and myself were baffled with the influx of crowd into Esplanade and the heavy presence of police officers.

Anyway we had our dinner at Jang Shou Korean Charcoal BBQ located at Esplanade Mall. Owned by a Korean, they served nice BBQ Korean style. Pictures above are some of the nice meat and assorted side dishes we had. Practically we had marinated honey chicken, marinated beef and the assorted side dishes inclduing kimchi as well of course.

Although steep on price, 5 of us dined to a total of $270.00, but it was worth it. And before I forget, do help yourself with their free flow of coffee from the dispensing machine. And also do remember to ask for free fruits after the dinner. Its within your rights to enjoy cut fruits such as watermelon and oranges.
